Grilled Fish | How to Grill a Whole Fish Perfectly | Yan Cooks Food
Fresh Trevally fish from our local markets in New Zealand, the recipe is suitable for any fish or fish fillets.

Ingredients:
1 whole fish
salt
spring onion
ginger
1 teaspoon of cooking wine
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of ground fennel seed powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions:
1. Cut the fins, cut from the back all the way to the front.
2. Cut 3 lines on each side.
3. Rub with salt
4. Rub with spring onion and ginger to reduce the odor.
5. Rub with cooking wine, then move the fish to a bowl to marinate for an hour.
6. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of ground fennel seed powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika,
1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of black pepper to a separate bowl and mix well.
7. Cover a baking tray with tin foil, place the marinated fish onto the tray.
8. Brush the fish with oil, sprinkle or rub the seasonings onto the fish.
9. Bake in the oven at 200C for 40 - 50 minutes.
10. Once cooked, brush with oil and sprinkle with seasonings.
11. Move back to the oven again, bake at 250C for another 15 minutes.
12. Decorate with lettuce and radish slices :)
