I listen to this show weekly. My man JR, with all he's going through, still sharp, lucid and hilarious. God bless. Much love!

Get well JR. Ive listened to you broadcast since the mid 1980's. I say this with all honesty and respect, you are the greatest wrestling announcer, commentator, voice, in the history of the business. Solie was great, Tony is great, but no one is even close to you.

Without austin giving the rock and hhh a bigger spotlight I dont see them getting as over. The fueds he has with these guys elevated them. Even Mick Foley to a degree through his evolution process
@Rschr1013 жыл бұрын
Austin opened the door for all 3 of those guys to get worldwide exposure. Foley put his body on the line to get HHH and especially Rocky over.

Austin is the one that really destroyed the heel vs. babyface concept. He became the anti-establishment vs. corporate America.
@hellohell772 жыл бұрын
Isn't that the ultimate babyface vs heel program? I just think because Austin also did a few heel things, people called him an anti-hero. But by 98, he was a face character. People get too caught up on what faces and heels should be and how they should act. If you're getting booed you're a heel, cheered a face. That's how I see it.
