You can actually avoid the parasyte tree transformation by clicking in the face of the employes that are trying to get the "bless" from the tree, just like with lil prince, this way you can always have at least 1 light on the abnormality by sending always the same employe and preventing the rest from entering in the containment chamber. Honestly the tree is easier to deal with, and you only lose 5 employees. But the plague doctor... If its whitenight, you cannot pause. You cannot do anything. You can only die or defeat it. Also if you defeat it without deaths, you lose TWELVE employees.
