there was a barrel at the top on the left side as you look at the island facing the door you broke down, was nice that the game gifted you not just one but two new axes which saves you making one.

If you turn on the game music, you can tell when there's bad guys around or when you've killed them all.

Congrats on defeating the base! That was awesome. That one enemy who came out of nowhere scared me half to death. Lol. I’m glad you were able to take everyone out. Also, I think you probably found everything there, you just left loot behind (the clothing you didn’t want, the gasoline you had to drop to craft a bandage). So I think you looted the whole base, which is amazing. That was a fun raid. 😄

Though those jump scares are pretty awesome. If you go to the map screen the POI marker will turn from red to white if youve killed all the enemies.... hope that helps (and yes I know that will mean less jump scares but there are still the sharks)

You can pickaxe ore on islands. One is near the trader.

Oh and make sure you back up your saves before you update. Been lots of folks with issues after the update. Also empty your inventory and hotbar before updating.

There is a way for all the loot to respawn, if you leave just one item left in a container and you don't completely search or destroy the resource nodes around the map, everything will respawn if you logout of the game and log back into game

I found out today that if you do not destroy the item and let it keep an item in it, it will restock its items every time you log out and back in. Enjoy the game.

You need to work on your armor. It’s too low to raid islands and other places. You need go to the police station and kill the sharks there. You also need to got the armor bench. It will help you get better armor.

On the top left of the UI just under the time it shows the damage done to your enemies. the Pistol did 21-48 while the Crossbow did 145-157. nice using the enemy wall hacks against them with the foot stabby.
