On these tractors you do not change tires directions with the handle bars. It is not the same as a full size tractor.

no he's talking about the direction of your tire tread. the point of the v should face the direction you are moving for maximum traction. yours is setup best traction for mowing (and you probably want that traction with soilworking impleemnts so would make sense to unbolt and reverse the tires/swap what side they are on)

there is an older style of tractor like that from Maybe the fifties and sixties or even the 70s the name of it is not coming to me but it was always a good design and a good idea for a smaller area

David Bradley made a really good one for high ground clearance one instance this comes especially useful is you need to straddle tall plants or raised rows, and gravely made one that could use power inmplemnts such as a rotary plow.

+Ze Khong In my area diesel is the same price and sometimes more expensive than gas. It would take several years of constant use to break even with the price difference. I do like diesels though...

Torque ,that is advantage of diesel over gasoline and fuel efficiency,Morover engine life is also longer.In agriculture Torque is important,so even for diesel engine,we usually make low rpm, higher torque engine for tractors.If diesel is same price with gas u are lucky,in simply u get more fuel because diesel is denser( heavier) for same volume.

+Ze Khong that is all true. When i bought the machine it was a few thousand more for the diesel option. Considering the tools i planned on using and the hours i was going to put on the machine, it was just not cost effective. For average non-commercial use gas does fine. So i put the money that a diesel would have cost into another implement. either way these tractors are quality and you won't be disappointed. just buy the machine that can run the largest implement you would ever want to use. So you don't have to upgrade and waste money.Thanks for giving a good view of diesels for other viewers.

That is correct.If you are not intended to use for heavy duty or commercial use,gas engine is cheaper and less toxic gas to emit too.

I researched the lombardini diesels offered. Unfortunately it is a 3600 rpm diesel. Fuel saving maybe, and diesel has lubricating properties that spare engine wear, but I get the vibe from diesel enthusiasts that the 3600rpm diesels don't vastly outlast their gasoline counterparts.
