I can see those ruins starting off next to each other and then a cruel wizard increases the gap between them in the middle of a D&D campaign to separate himself from the party, and then the centre is filled with spawned enemies - Awesome job!

Absolutely awesome - I was imagining a necromancer or something using the sort of residual power of worship to make a summoning portal out of the big circular window to gather his undead legions

LOVE the Front/Back two-piece strategy. Totally reads as an entire building when put together, but allows it to be modular and assessable for gaming. Love it!

I like how this ruined monastery build ties your ruined buildings to your Idols of Torment project. I love how a building can be used in multiple games. This ruined monastery would fit into D&D, Frostgrave, Warhammer 40K, Idols of Torment, and any number of skirmish games or RPG's.

This build is gorgeous! I think mushing in the caulk/paint mixture is brilliant; it definitely gives a 'rough grouted' look. Same with the block-by-block approach - it just looks better than carved lines into the foam (which is what I'd probably do, cuz I'm lazy af! 😅), *especially* with the caulk mixture.

The brick work never gets old, it always looks so authentic. Your description of making crafting decisions on the fly reminds me of how I cook, which made me think of Chopped, which made me wonder- Where is our reality competition show for miniature crafters and painters at?

So many good little tips in here! I particularly like the ‘huge structure in two pieces’ idea for a variable internal space; that is really helpful! Also, thank you for reminding me about pastel dust. I’m gonna use that on the piece I’m working on now, which I have been worried about dry brushing and having its texture look good.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU, you are one of the reasons I am building terrain myself. You showed that it can be easy and accessible to everyone, regardless of skills or tools owned. Your tips and tutorials gave me a lot of knowledge and every new video is an additional motivation to keep building and creating new stuff. I love the dark fantasy stuff, I also wonder what your take on more postapocalyptic Mad Max / Fallout style terrain would be, if you're into this kind of thing. Cheers and greetings from Poland!
