Just explore and poke around, Grim Dawn is more of an adventure and journey than it is an end game zerg. The way itemization works is sorta based on the 'area' you're in and the monsters you're fighting, so if you end up in a spot where you keep getting all these awesome items for skills and builds you don't use, just know they're out there, somewhere :)

Another thing I'll say is I see you have Veteran on, and honestly I recommend turning that off unless you just want the challenge, the xp/gear rewards aren't even noticeable, it essentially just makes the game take longer.

Appreciate the tips ! I was kinda being hard on myself for the progression and seems like part is putting it on vet and the other part is really thinking that I’m supposed to speed through the game. I’m excited for my next run to implement the difficulty change and new mindset hope to see you there !

@PvreFx i hope you enjoy your time, it's a great, great arpg. Another thing that sets it apart is you can actually swivel the camera around, which makes getting lost 200% more likely to happen lol
