idk if it can help anyone but if ur okay in healing potions or bandages... just bring 2stacks.. and whenever u see u are about to take dmg from either his spikes or his lateral sweep attack AND that ur hp bar is below 80% just dont be greedy and use those healing items even if it means only healing for 20 hp.... as u can see in this video at 12:14 he took 62 cold and 18 physical and another 8 from dot... so 88 dmg when he died.. just dont be greedy on healing items make sure ur armor is 60% or more (for legendary i mean) and at least 2 weapons for halt and 1 for the shards

yes you're right, im sure it will be useful, never hesitate to use the heal item if you didn't want to die and lose all the item

i dont mean to spam but i just did the legendary one with a full armor of snow but only half durability and a war hammer, and when he had like 15/20% hp my armor broke, i had 2 full stack of pot thankfully so i started to trade every hit for a pot... very stressfull situation but turned out very well i managed to kill him completely naked.. (and at the end of the day i only used 18 pot 5 mandrake pot and bit of bacon) again guys dont hesitate to bring AND use healing potions

also when he starts spamming his sweep attack like at 16:10 it can be quite a good trade to just tank those attacks for a potion and just keep hitting him.. you will use some more pot but u can get the kill way faster

is illuminator good against legendary Halt? or should i use poisonous dagger or hammer?

dont use poisoned daggers. if i were to grade it,, halberd type will be no.1, war hammer goes in no.2, illuminator in no.3 and poisoned dagger is no.4

I hate the fact you lose your stuff when you die in the fight. Also it’s pretty obvious not to use ice weapons against an ice boss also why is there no dragon boss in the game

In fantasy game à dragoon can be ice dragoon, fire dragoon or zombi poison dragoon ect 😂... But its not in grim soul . But ice weapon is here for à reason . Defeat Harid the fire boss and also defeat fire guardian in torturer floor 2 , if you dont have ice weapon you will break all regular weapons on fire guardians because à lot of HP .
