I'm pretty much done with Grim Soul however I've recently started playing a different survival game that I'm really enjoying. Once I get a little further along in that game I might make a guide or two for that game.

That effect of your speakers comming into your mic again really rocks it, I saw something like that in metal festivals. In that way the club sounds like a super killing weapon haha...
@LagunaFox6 жыл бұрын
Well it has nothing to do with speakers actually since the game audio runs through my ear buds the mic can't pick that up. However I am trying different things to eliminate my voice kinda fading out and echoing so it is almost impossible to hear. Hopefully I get that fixed in the near future.

I'm so lost...should I focus on completing quests? I can't find the material to build the Raven Cage so I've been stuck for sometime now and I'm making no progress...cuz the places I've been exploring don't have the resources I need.
@LagunaFox4 жыл бұрын
Many things have changed since I made this guide, including the addition of quests but for the most part where things are found has remained the same. As for focusing on quests or not I couldn't say, I stopped playing before quests came out so idk what the benefits of doing them actually are. If you tell me what items you are looking for I can probably help you find them, I might also suggest heading to the Grim Soul official discord group as there are several people there that would be willing to give you a hand and answer your questions. There are guides on several topics over there that might help you with finding items and several other things.

Hey this is kinda helpful but I like to do like roleplays with these types of games and maybe if you could make a video where you like start over and do a scavenger roleplay or something like that in the latest update
@LagunaFox5 жыл бұрын
Not sure I'd really want to start over, but an interesting thought none the less.

One more question, how can you kill enemies that attack from the air. I think it’s the Night at the Cemetery event, but a bat or something from the air keeps attacking me. Anything I can do to kill it?
@LagunaFox2 жыл бұрын
I believe you need a bow or crossbow for the bats. They didn't exist back when I played the game but I believe that is what I heard when they got put in the game.

You go into great length about the durability of the Falcion vs. the Bastard Sword. But, when you can find the durability for each weapon? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of but can’t find it. Please let me know.
@LagunaFox2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't exist anywhere in the game so I had to figure them out myself by building each weapon and recording the number of hits each of them did. That information ended up in a spreadsheet on the official discord for grim soul, so if you ever want to know how much durability a weapon or armor has head over to the discord.

Thank you. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

The best stuff to bring when farming a skull 1 zone is: A bag (any bag) 2 pickaxes 2 axes 2 low level weapons (average leveled weapons like spiked mace or cart thill is only good for killing damneds, bears, wolfs, and direwolfs) No armor at all 5-20 food (recommended are berries or 3 honeys) Try to get as many sneak attacks as you can and always try to get as less hits taken from an enemy and try to kill more enemies for more exp :) Bringing a falchion, morning star, one handed sword, flanged mace and more is not worthed at all. Save those weapons for a skull 3 zones to get night caches :) Try to get as much food as you can from deers or from enemies that drops leek seeds. I hope you will use my simpld tactic that I have mastered. Every time you farm and if you do it quick, you might be able to do 3 attempts before it gets night :) If you want to do it in the night just remember to bring a torch. And.. Do not bring even a tier 1 armor piece with you because it is not worthed. Bandages is not worthed either. Just use honey or berries. I hope you will do this because it's just a simple tactic I came up with and now I've mastered how to do it.

I’m about five minutes into the video, and I think I’ll keep watching it, but I need to give you some friendly advice. If you’re going to make videos, practice using less “uhhhh” and “ummmm” types of fillers. It’s very distracting and mentally lazy. If you’re not exactly sure what to say next, pause and take a moment and then continue. Just advice. Thanks for the video
@LagunaFox5 жыл бұрын
You're probably right, but all the videos I've done were mostly created in the moment without any kind of script. I have a habit of thinking out loud, talking to myself to work through a problem and such. So yea, I appreciate the advice but it is just in my nature, it is the way that I talk, can't really change that anymore than I can just wake up and be a completely different person. If people don't like how I talk then I'll just stop commentary all together most likely.
@trentmartin10615 жыл бұрын
Flawless Fox I don’t believe he intended to insult the way you talk. It seemed more like constructive criticism and I agree with him. IF you’re trying to become a serious content creator then scripted videos would help a lot because it’s easier to listen to someone when they don’t say “uhhhhhhhh” every few seconds you also say obviously a lot. If you only make videos occasionally for fun though then it doesn’t really matter. Lol PLEASE don’t take offense to this though as I myself am just as guilty of the ummmmmmm uhhhhh’s 😂

@LagunaFox Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure why it would say that, perhaps you need to do some quests for the raven first? I would go to the Grim Soul discord and ask some folks there, they tend to be willing to answer questions like this and know a lot more than I do about the game at this point. The link for it is in the video description.

For the first 5 minutes you could have just said you were making this for beginners because the game updated and then went into the tutorial, the explanation was a bit long winded. I do highly appreciate the tutorial though, your not the only one who talks a lot before starting a tutorial though this wasn't that long compared to some people haha.
@LagunaFox4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, honestly I just wanted to be as detailed as I could and explain the reasoning beyond everything I recommend, but yea I am a bit long winded lol. As long as people get good informatuon out of it then that is all that really matters.
