Howdy folks! Here's a link to my site: www.gameyybuilds.com And my Patreon can be found at www.patreon.com/gameyybuilds Also, please excuse the weird glitchy video at 09:38 I'm not sure what happened there! Also, ignore the "Patreon" label on the end screen. I didn't realize KZbin doesn't allow multiple external links at the end of a video, so I can only include my shop link. And as for the accent... sorry, I'm no pro voice actor!

i have a great idea, here me out Blight farmers, a region so densely covered in the blight that the peoples have evolved to consume the blight without harm, using giant harvesters to collect and use the blight as food, (and maybe power.?.?). this territory could be on the lower left islands. you dont have to take it, but still, this universe you are creating is amazing, and cool

Let me get this straight, you build these incredible objects from junk and then expertly paint them, you film the process in interesting ways, you edit the footage adding such very satisfying voice over and a complex soundtrack, AND write a deeply involved short story to expand the life of the scene you've built? You have developed an amazing set of talents, skills and craftsmanship. I'm blown away!!!

@@inairefalen8065Granted the death of the two protagonists did set him back, I think that the story made up for this deficit and expanded the world of the build. Though, now that you mentioned it his stories do seem to contain a lot of killing and 💀...🤔 Very dark, but I think that is part of the charm of the world of Aegis. Those little bits of life struggling to survive (if not thrive) amidst so much death.

@@gameyybuilds Have you tried fusion360? When I made something from a drawing, I just inserted the drawing 'canvas' the in sketch workspace, I drawed around (or you can use inkscape and the insert it to fusion) and then did a extrude and used fillett/chamfer at the edges. I am not that good in 3D design but can make nearly anything in fusion and much faster then in blender when it comes to these mechanical parts. Oh and you can learn fusion360 on a basic level in days, not like blender.

In Blender while working on objects not aligned to the global XYZ axes it's helpful to switch to the local transformation orientation by clicking the dropdown in the centre-top of the viewing window (Defaults to global). This way you'll easily be able to extrude perfect right angle to your object no matter its orientation. Great video as always, take care mate.

@@gameyybuilds it bears saying that an objects orientation will only be affected while it is moved in object mode and not in edit mode, but a quicker method is to "Extrude Along Normals" (Alt-E) for simple right angles.

Please please please Eric, stay away from resin printing as much as possible (which you did/do and I’m so grateful). Some of the OG KZbin scratch-builders are now using their printers to wow us with their creations… but it’s always so underwhelming as to me, the enjoyment comes from witnessing/taking part in the ingenuity of seeing a form out of the box + the creative mind in progress + the problem solving genius. Your channel with its story telling, own language and culture is fantastic. You’re not just an architect but also a linguist and a story teller - a truly impressive combo. Oh and I love the ink and watercolour concept art. You’re just amazing. 👌🏼🤯
