Hello I love these tools and I have them in the EDC. But it is important to know that, newer handcuffs have a hole on the side where the lock is locked. They can no longer be tightened and the shim does not work that way. To open it, the lock must first be opened by turning the key in the opposite direction. But what needs a lot more strength. Unfortunately this tool is too weak for that and it bends. (I tested it myself.) But the shim is excellent for opening cable ties.

The great thing about being able to put them back is that you can sand/file them to remove the sharp edges unlike most of the others on market

@@TheWarriorSolution Can you measure how thick they are with calipers? Also one nice thing to point out is that they are made in the USA unlike the cheap ones on Amazon that come from China.

@@danieljaworski1294 I don't have a set of calipers yet, but they are exactly 1/4 the thickness of a normal house key. Grim Survival's website says they are 1mm thick.

Constructive criticism, if I may: You’re clearly a well-spoken individual and have a great speaking voice, but only for the first half of each sentence. The last half tends to get extremely gravely. It’s not a huge deal for most folks I’m sure, but I find it extraordinarily distracting.

I appreciate the feedback. My wife calls me out on it sometimes too. This is an older video, so hopefully I've improved over the years. It's difficult for me to watch what I'm doing in the camera while also speaking clearly at the same time. I was just Infantry, after all. :D

Hello just want to know that the lock was already unlocked when he inserted the picks, thats why he cut the video to the next frame.

wrong, I cut the frame because I was cutting the amount of time it took to pick it. People have extremely short attention spans, and I'm no Lock Picking Lawyer.
