Grim - Total Annihilation (HD)

I made this film for fun, and had no idea it would become as famous as it did within the WoW community.
I filmed for around four weeks to gather all the footage.
The server I played on was Al'Akir - Europe.
I made Grim on day 1 of WoWs release on the server Al'Akir, and to this day he has never left that server, any other 'Grim' is an imposter, I have heard of many imposters, a lot from America, they are all fakes :).
I played for some time in TBC, got to 70, achieved the #1 rogue rogue 2v2 team ranking in the world in season 1, and got gladiator with Xom, team name "If Carlsberg Made Rogues". I took a long break when season 2 came out.
The original movie, made by me. This high quality version was never released, not even to warcraftmovies where my movie was originally uploaded to, I rendered a very high quality copy for the future, there is no point it just sitting on my hard drive, so here it is, enjoy :)

I must say, as being probably one of you're biggest fans ever - that this film is truly amazing. I remember playing WoW alot back then with my friends from Norway, whom all watched you're films on a daily basis. You gave us so much happiness through you're uploadings. We used to make rogues and do PvP listenting to the song ''Numb - Linkin Park'' whilst thinking of you Grim! I remember how Grim was the coolest dude I could ever think of as a kid. I started playing when I was 9 years old and I'm 17 now. When I think back on World of Warcraft, I think of Grim. The pride of the horde, the fear of the alliance.

I first heard of Grim back in the 10th grade, in early to middle 2006, someone in my math class had Grim:Path of Blood on of all things his Ipod. We both watched it intently and I was simply amazed, I had yet to level to 60 as a Tauren Druid (Sad days back then, yeah?) and became a fast favorite of mine. Total Annihilation was released shortly after I was shown PoB, it had a stark effect on my perception of PVP. Something someone could truly dominate. I miss those days, World of Roguecraft too.

2:40. My absolute favorite part. Rogue wins opener and thought that he was the bigboi until he ran out of stun, then he was completely rekt. The good old wow days when servers were proper communities. I was in darkstorm on alakir and used to love the sotg v darkstorm ganking. Jungle was a decent hunter and used to always get ganked by sarah when the realm opened! Was a class server al akir. I wonder what lylz grim and klauz are upto these days (urizen/permee)

As soon as I seen the intro I was like FUCK !!! it had been like at least 5-6 years since I seen your vid OG.. @Teringventje doubt it. He knows his class very well and in this vid he has BIS phase 3-4 or higher and probably BIS for PvP imo given how T2 works for rogue it's a very good choice for PvP.

Damn, I totally agree with you. With PvP resilience becoming even MORE powerful in Mists of Pandaria, it's like Blizzard want each fight to last 1 minute plus. They probably think in terms of arena, where a 2 second gank would be boring, but in my opinion WoW seemed better when arena wasn't in it. Oh, and the fact that healers can heal themselves up against 2 or 3, maybe even 4, enemies seems absolutely ridiculous to me. It's just the way it is, right now, so I stopped playing.

Same story for me! apart from I was 14 and I didn't get to play WOTLK to see how that was, however I've been playing in Cataclysm and it is awful. Really regret buying the annual pass. It's nothing like Vanilla or TBC. Maybe now is the time for me to move on and take Grim's advice aswell.
