love Draconis Combine since back in day me and my sister always love Japanese history and it's culture too bad I can't speak the language but My sister got down that Geisha look down during a Halloween party but in BattleTech looks lone ain't going to get you anywhere. Had paint paralysis when i got my first minis. Was reminded this isnt WH40K and to just paint a lance in the colors you like (so long as it's not comically offensive to the table). So i chose the Draconis. Black and red, washed down to a deeper blood red and I am more than happy with the results. Now that im past the point of no return, I come to the lore 😂

I spent a year in Japan, but that was in the early 90s. I wonder if there are real parallels between Draconis Combine and imperial Japan? I did a deep dive into medieval Japan but not imperial time period. Excellent video.

Basically the unified Japan just b3fore the American black ship shows up with the massage of "open your country to us or else." I winder what that black ship will be for the Kuritans. And wait for it... if they get a Maiji reform era then... what is in comparison same as over powering to a nuke, as a nuke is to a Kamikaze pilot? We will need at least two of those to put that later version Kuritan empire back into the bottle... holly molly...
