Big respect for Slimzee talking about mental struggles. Not an easy subject

Part of me feels that Slimzee's humbleness and kindness was always capitalised on by the sharks in the industry. He was and still is there for the love of the music and the money thing was secondary. The thing is how many people could you think of in the scene that have consistently been like that have stayed true to themselves. He's our working class hero and master of his craft! Respect is concrete. Big up DJ Argue on this epic podcast!

Thank you Slimzee. I uploaded as much as I could knowing you were taking a break. And I remember how cool you were to me when I first reached out. You are a hero and super talented man. For all of us who have struggled with ourselves, thanks for speaking about everything.

I owe Slimzee an apology. I was around them days and played on few of the same raves. Pay As U Go to me was and will always be the greatest Cru from the U.K. in my eyes they was the Brit WuTang but couldn’t grow and stay together. I always thought Slim was rude to me but now it all makes sense. It’s a lot and with age you learn that you don’t know what others have going on. I still listen to their old sets and I don’t care what anyone says. Plague, Wiley, Major, Maxwell D and Slim was GRIME in its pure form. I also had a mental breakdown and it ended my music life. I’m glad you’re on the right path now man. Respect

Wicked video. Remember Slimzee smashing it then disappearing. Met him briefly at the last Rinse vs FWD event. Respect for soldiering through the struggles

I always wondered what happened to him, his record box had pure exclusives, people thought he made them with his trademark his Slimzee sample on them!!

Putting Slimzee in room two at that Ministry event was a piss take. No wonder he sacked off Rinse, if people don't show you the respect you deserve you need to cut them out. Nuts have been a hard for him to deal with but with every closed door comes many more open doors.
