i knew she spoke fluent french, but I wonder if this is the first track she is actually singing it! love the techno vibes. I think book1 is def gonna be full of techno/party music, which im so here for!🔮🔥

I don't think she's fluent in french, in an interview she declared that her grandfather is Quebecois but that she cannot speak french but her pronunciation seems spot on so she may have some familiarity with the language. She also sing in french in the track Art Angels from the same name album

@@Sarc0n It's the first track I fully heard her speak French. I love Grimes, but I don't know every song to a T. Personally, I have v close family that are fluent in French & some that do not like to claim the title of being "fluent" bc they claim that their vocabulary is 'elementary' even that mentality - the way they can speak & write is much higher than the way they portray it in their minds & to other French speaking communities 🇫🇷🤍✨
