I keep trying to explain why I like Grimes so much and the only explanation I can come up with is how every song is layered. The melody, the vocals, the beats are intertwined in a way I have never experienced with other artists much. It feels... Alive. Every time I listen I hear it differently, notice something new about it, as if it has physical volume and one can look inside.
