Kakirin That's not a second season. I could just read a comic book, but a superhero movie or show is way better. I like the soundtrack, animations, and voice over that media has. Novels and books are good if no other version of that story exists

I really loved this anime for the accuracy of what actually happen vs monsters, the meaning of kill, etc, and the hard work the chars have to do for survive. Food, sleep, home, armor and weapon maintenance,... etc. Hope, we'll can see a second season.

I really liked the fighting choreography. They were rookies and fought as such, but it didn't look dumb, but brutal and desperate. Later, you can see them improve and still they struggle at times. IRL even the best can fail, but it's how they deal with their mistakes that makes them veterans.

it's about the way you want to live, some people like to live a long and peaceful life, others want action in it, of course if i went to this kind of world i'd put my money on survival instead of glory & fame, but still, this life looks more interesting than the one i'm going for ( you know, working all my life for a next to nothing , just gaining enough money to have fun with my friends.. meh. ) of course the dangers are like 70% of the deal, but think about the 30% left. the bonds you would make, what your story could be in this kind of world. Futhermore, in the anime you watch the story from Haruhiro's group point of view ( and they struggle like HELL.) in the Light Novel, you get to see that Renjis group goes much smoother, you could think that the first group is below average in term of survivability and the 2nd one much above average.

Oh boy they really went nuts on those fights scenes in anime. I just finished second tome of novel (base material) and first fight vs goblin, last fight against those that killed makoto and even fight vs death spots are MUCH better in anime. They were kinda okay in novel but much shorter and less "flashy".

That actually does happen in volume 3 of the light novel of the series. They end up going to a Orc fortress with an army of other groups and lets say the Orcs are strong enemies leading many of them to end up died.

It is worth watching it in my opinion. While it may not be the most action packed anime it is emotional and all the characters feel like real people with their own quirks and personalities, I enjoyed every moment and it does contain a few good fights

By the way if this looks interesting to you, you might enjoy Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou k. It's like this... but better.
