Idek how people cant see this. I mean in the end of the day grim did his wall for "content" more than for his team, this is for flashy twisted highlights on his youtube channel. Shroud want it to play the right way, which he always would. Back on the COD days theres ton of youtuber that did 360 no scope when they just can kill the enemy, its fine, they are having fun, but in the end of the day dont get tilted when someone told you to just keep it simple.

I understand where Shroud is coming from, and he's definitely right that the wall is best used in its most straightforward application. That being said, I think that, on the occasional round, being able to whip out a completely unpredictable off-angle and potentially getting one or more kills off of it, is a legitimate and unexplored tactic involving Sage's wall. While it's certainly gimmicky, I also believe that in certain situations it could sneak a free pick needed to secure a round

Grim can do these flashy plays and it suits him because his aim is great and he is creating content for youtube (similar to how flights plays raze)....shroud is actually spitting facts about people who try and copy these "tiktok" walls of his in ranked thinking that they would give them an edge over the enemy or make them better at the game without having the basics of the game down like aim,counter strafe, etc. P.S. Shroud had actually admitted in the past that Grim was the best sage player in the world.

Grim is not only creative with his walls but he has also amazing crosshair placement and game sense, if you are not as good as Grim knowing only where to place the walls will not help you at all xd my fellow Sage mains please understand this instead of throwing our game every single time when y'all are trying to make new and creative walls lol As a Sage main myself I love watching Grim but I would never be that selfish to try walls during the match when my team is depending on me I need to train harder on everything else to even think about trying walls like this.

What shroud said is 100% true. I once had a teammate who would do walls like this instead of walling chokepoints. He did alright in terms of kills but that is at the cost of baiting the entire team and loosing map control.

Shroud is right, and it does pertain to Grim too. These walls will always be good in ranked because they're a gimmick that can easily pick off the disorganized pubber. Can't bring it to a competitive team setting because if you're not using it to stop a set play or create a part of a set play, you're gimping your team. HOWEVER, this isn't a competitive team setting. He's playing pubs and that makes this perfectly fine, and enjoyable to watch.

Shroud is wrong, because that's not what he said. He said "He's kinda trolling with the Sage walls. These are rounds that he could win, but he's using them so selfishly. If you're trying to take this game seriously, you'll never actually improve by doing that." And that's wrong. Experimenting and pushing the limits of your abilities and your tactics is how you improve. Making sure you get every easy W you can is not going to help you improve. Shroud himself has said as much. And specifically regarding Grim, he has said Grim's walls are strong and more people should be doing them. The only reason he contradicted himself in this clip is because he was tilted. He was in the middle of a game against Grim and Grim killed him with a good wall play. Cue the "Grim's going to be stuck forever" blabber. Right after Shroud said this, he started trying to find and kill Grim as early into the round as possible. Tilt.

shroud's assessment is fair, but at the same time Grim is honestly balancing creative skills, with developing his own aim skills in the game. Because his walls themselves but him at a different angle when he's watching a corner, it means he also needs to prep for his new crosshair placement angle. He's also tryna make a living as well with this, so balanced all 3 of these things is pretty impressive.

i think that sage's walls is fulfile what its meaned to be. Defending the area by blocking path, vision or giving you surprised advantages to kill enemies. I played Sage quite lot so i think the sage slow balls is more effective than a wall if i defend an area.

Shroud was simply saying that some Sages that try the Grim Walls and fail ruin the game for the team, because it would have been better to use it defensively (as a Sage usually would) than for parlor tricks that may or may not work. Shroud said that "he gets it" when someone said that Grim is doing it for clips, because, as a content creator himself, he also understands, he is simply addressing to the general public that some games could've been won/made easier if the players played right (less experimental on competetetive plays).
