true, I noticed another thing too, the more waltz like pattern of 6/8 in that theme emphasizes how much of a dance it really is too. I still have yet to beat him, but watching others, I noticed how much of a pinpoint dance it really is. It's insane how they got that exact, with the first one being more of a show dance, but the second being a no-mistake dance.

Up Aerial: Grimm turns upside-down, wraps his cape around himself, forming the lower part of it into a drill as he kicks upwards and flares out the upper part of the cape like a pair of wings. Down Aerial: Grimm vanishes in a puff of scarlet smoke... only to come diving down from the smoke cloud, wreathed in scarlet flames, descending until he crashes into the ground below with a burst of flames. Grab: Grimm reaches out one hand and grabs for the opponent. Short reach but comes out pretty fast. Pummel: Scarlet flames erupt from the grappled opponent. Forward Throw: Grimm's cape turns into half a dozen nails that rapidly stab at the opponent, sending them flying. Back Throw: Grimm drags the opponent behind him with a dance-like double twirl and sends them flying with a kick. Up Throw: A flaming sphere forms above Grimm as he gets down on the ground, pulling the opponent in above himself, his cape forming into a drill that launches the opponent up into the sphere of fire. Down Throw: Grimm and the opponent disappear in a puff of scarlet smoke and then reappear in the air above, Grimm pushing the opponent down into the ground, unleashing a burst of flame as they crash down. Forward Smash: Grimm strikes a pose and starts gathering scarlet flame in his hand that he then unleashes forward. Uncharged just fires a burst of flames. Halfway charged fires 3 fireballs in a spread-shot pattern. Fully charged fires 5 fireballs in a spread-shot pattern. Up Smash: Grimm shoots down his cloak into the ground around him. Uncharged the attack unleashes 3 cloak spikes from the ground on a convergent point right above Grimm. Halfway charged the attack unleashes 6 cloak spikes, 3 converging on a point right above Grimm and the other 3 spreading out. Fully charged all 6 cloak spikes spread out, covering a much wider area. Grimm has super armour for the duration of the attack due to anchoring himself. The attack has a sweet spot at the very tip of the cloak spikes. Down Smash: Grimm strikes a pose with both his arms up in the air and his cape fully opened. When the attack button is released, Grimm swipes down with both arms at once. Floor Attack: A short burst of scarlet flames erupt from under Grimm, lifting him up to his feet. Edge Attack: Grimm vanishes in a puff of scarlet smoke and re-appears just off the ledge, dashing forward with his cape shaped into a drill. Neutral Special: Grimm Fire: Grimm opens his cloak, sending out 1-4 Grimmchildren made of fire depending on how many times the B button is pressed. The Grimm Fire flies with erratic movements. Up Special: Vanishing Act: Grimm spins once and disappears in a puff of scarlet smoke. He then reappears in another puff of scarlet smoke some distance away in the direction pressed. Holding down the B button increases the time before he reappears as well as the distance he can travel. Side Special: Scarlet Slash: Grimm dashes forward with a large swipe. An additional button input makes him launch into the air with a rising uppercut. Yet another button input makes him disappear in a puff of scarlet smoke, scattering five flaming spheres around. Grimm reappears a short distance away in the direction pressed. Down Special: Diabolic Dive: Grimm teleports into the air, shapes his cloak into a drill and dives towards the closest enemy at a diagonal angle. As he lands, an additional button input makes him follow up with a dash in the direction of the closest enemy using his arm wrapped in his cloak like a lance. When performed with a Smash input, the attack leaves a trail of scarlet flames in Grimm's wake. Down Special Aerial: Diabolic Dive (Air): Grimm shapes his cloak into a drill and dives towards the ground at a diagonal angle. As he lands, an additional button input makes him follow up with a dash in the direction of the closest enemy using his arm wrapped in his cloak like a lance. When performed with a Smash input, the attack leaves a trail of scarlet flames in Grimm's wake. Final Smash: The Nightmare's Heart: Grimm takes a moment to focus and 4 pillars of scarlet flame erupt sequentially under the closest 4 enemies (multiple flame pillars will target a single enemy if less than 4 enemies are present within the attack's range). All enemies hit by the flame pillars will then be transported to the location of The Nightmare's Heart, where Grimm performs The Pufferfish Attackᵗᵐ for 10 seconds, (it's a straight-up dodge-a-ton... or get-hit-a-ton... blocking results in an instant guard break,) disappearing in a puff of scarlet smoke when the attack reaches its end whereupon a torrent of scarlet flame is unleashed from the Nightmare Heart, returning all combatants to the main stage again. Up Taunt: Grimm raises a hand and snaps his fingers. Side Taunt: Grimm takes a deep, respectful bow. Down Taunt: Grimm screeches like a banshee. Colour 1: Base colours (black horns, scarlet eyes, dark grey cape with maroon insides, red body underneath). Colour 2: Grimmchild (black eyes and cape, light grey body underneath). Colour 3: Brumm (black eyes, dark grey horns, maroon cape, grey and light grey striped body underneath). Colour 4: Divine (white eyes, light grey horns and body, maroon cape, grey body underneath). And if that makes me crazy then I guess musk-green gauges micturate with nibbles and tiptoe rusting machinery, rustically inclined. There are a lot of indie games that deserved the recognition to have their characters put in Smash -- not as trophies, or assists, or mii costumes, but as playable fighters... Hollow Knight. Touhou Project. Undertale/Deltarune. Hyper Light Drifter. Skullgirls. Cave Story. Shovel Knight. Shantae. Cuphead. Ori. Yooka-Laylee... If there ever is a Smash after Ultimate, (and the escalating climate breakdown doesn't kill us,) then maybe one day some of them will get to stand in the spotlight.

So Hollow Knight was quite a unique experience for me, because before I actually listened to the OST before I played the game. I had the full OST saved on KZbin and one time I started listening to it while drawing. It was the first time I managed to listen to the whole thing, but I was drawing, so I didn't read titles or anything, I was just coloring and causally thinking "oh, that's a boss" when the music got louder. Well after some time I stopped paying attention, stopped noticing the music getting more energetic and stuff. But man, at one point I remember that I stopped drawing, turned up the volume and thought: "who the HELL is causing the OST to suddenly have heavy drums and guitars in it? This dude is going to be WILD!". Well it was. Grimm I can deal with just fine, but NKG...eh.
