Mike, you have no idea how happy I am that you were able to get clean & sober & have somehow managed to stay that way this past year! It is what I had hoped & wished for you since the day I met you! That was an incredible feat that you did, considering you are in this crazy music industry, where many an extremely talented singer & musician, like yourself, wasn't as lucky as you to have survived! I got sober 44 years ago, which is almost your age & it was the hardest, yet the best thing that has ever happened to me, to be able to get sober & stay sober all these years! Oh, & I was 12 years old when I got sober! Lol. JK! It changed my life, even though I only drank for 6 years, but I saw the direction I was headed! I know I would be dead by now, if I hadn't! Thank you for being so open & honest & telling your story & being your authentic self because that is exactly how you'll STAY sober, by staying true to yourself & keep speaking your truth! That is what has kept me sober all these years, anyway! It definitely gets easier as time goes by! I am so proud of you, Mister! ❤️
