How do we know that? Because Grimmjow directly calls Ichigo out for how his bankai just gives him access to an average level of speed. Sure Ichigo's hollow gets in the way and makes things more difficult, but there is something you should note. After Ichigo conquers his hollow, the moment he can't hollowfy he gets his ass handed to him again by Grimmjow. This time with LITERALLY one arm gone! So yeah, no. Grimmjow is just that strong, and at this point imma just start reporting you for spam.

Shikai gives anywhere from 5-10 times power up from base form. Bankai is 5-10 times power up from Shikai. So if espada resurrecions are similar to soul reaper sword release, then that means that ulquiorra would be anywhere from 25-100 times stronger in his 2nd resurrecion compared to his base form. And it’s kinda insane to think that released Starrk would beat 2nd release ulquiorra

Ichigo had no problem last arc? He fought Kenpachi to a draw and before his zanpakuto plot boost he was gonna die. When he first met Byakuya he got blitzed and 1 shotted. Gin blasted his shit at the gate and if they would've fought he would've smashed on Ichigo. Even after learning Bankai he fought Byakuya to a draw. He didn't win. Ichigo didn't have a flawless record beforehand.

Glad they’re loving this. It’s my favorite anime. Kubo has the best character design and art style to me. It just looks totally different. Ururu and Jinta are the same thing as Nemu. Not everyone has a bankai. At this point all the captains except kenpachi do, there’s 1 lieutenant that does (rengi). Then of course there’s ikkaku. Which you saw here. Everyone else releases their Zanpakuto... not to the level of bankai

:) I love the 'S' abridge version of this fight, where Renji realised that, outside of the non-cannon season and movies, he hasn't won a single fight against a named opponent and just frantically starts screaming at the aranca to tell him his name, so he isn't the the only lieutenant not to have beaten anyone. Bleach is my favorite anime of all time. I think FMA:B is 1a and Hunter x Hunter is 1b as far as "best animes", but neither of those animes have better characters or higher highs than Bleach. When Bleach gets hype, it redefines hype!

As someone who really enjoyed Bleach for the different language of similar techniques between the species/races, I don't know why they changed "flash step" to "slash step" in the dub. I'm pretty sure they said flash when it was on tv. But yeah, soul reapers have shunpo and hollows have sonido. Well damn, I made this comment earlier when I paused the video. I had typed out a bunch of stuff about the names of things and thought it was too long, so I deleted it and posted it then. Now I'm further in and I regretted it. So the soul reaper stuff is japanese and the arrancar stuff is spanish. Arrancar means "broken mask". Like how the hollows are breaking/removing their masks and becoming soul reapers. Hueco Mundo is the hollow world and literally translates from spanish as "hollow world". There's also an overlap of german stuff between the quincy and the bount.
