Fun fact the animators behind this scene wanted to express ichigos face with slow close ups to show ichigos focus on grimmjow remember this was ichigos first time seeing grimmjow’s transformation prior to this scene grimmjow has only teased ichigo so this scene is to show you ichigo focus as well as him waiting patiently to see the form
