Cap - these are the best videos! Love the PvP action between the Grim Reapers, but all in service of larger goals/strategy. The use of two lives ensures it's still fun for the GR team, but it's not just AirQuake with unlimited lives. And the promotion system to reward staying alive and completing goals? Very cool. Also appreciate the effort to limit Fox 4s, keeping it a little more realistic. Looking forward to more of these.

Why? There have been mirrors in games since the late nineties. Having a mirror is nice, but i'd gladly swap it for better damage model and more detailed failure modes.

There for more complicated things simulated in DCS. I mean the us air force uses it to train warthog pilots and the french air force for the mirage, it's that good, all the radars, the armament system, the flight models, even prop wash is simulated!

Do you have any tips for navigation? Im brand new to dcs but i know how to open the k map and the f10 map. But i really struggle with even understanding the map and flying to a point on the map. I have no problem navigating in il-2 with visuals. I feel like i may be missing something

Of all the many types of missions you guys come up with, I think these are my favorite. All require skill and knowledge, but the WW2 realm and using warbirds has that visceral mojo that the fast movers just don't have. It's much more "pilot in the box" than modern combat. Hell, just the takeoff, navigation and landings are just as dangerous as the shells exploding nearby, especially the way you guys do it! lol Mad respect to you all. When I get to this level of competence I will be a Grim Reaper. But not until then. I would not be able to look myself in the mirror if I was the one who jacked it all up because I didn't do my job right.
