Now that we have a kinetically superior aircraft to the hornet with a standoff weapon - can we see what kind of max range the JSOW going high and fast in the Viper with it's giant engine, it should be able to beat the Hornet.

I am pretty sure I've successfully launched the jsow in preplanned mode using the tgp as well.

When you set a SPI with the tgp, preplanned jsow will go there

If you mean storing target points, point your tgp on your target, press 7 on the icp (keypad on the upfront controls). On your DED you should see a markpoint menu, make sure it says tgp on the top row. Then press TMS up short, and the target will be stored to steerpoint 26. Any additional targets set will go to 27, 28 etc

Grim, when we launch 2 💣 together we know that the “space impact” is the distance between 2 JSOW 💣 considering the SPI at the center right? But these 💣 do not fall whole to the ground (such as JDAM), but open in the air in clusters. Therefore the “space impact” is calculated from the center of 1st 💣💣💣 💣 to the center of 2nd or simply the distance between 2 JSOW 💣 in the air? I hope it is clear I,m 🇮🇹🙏👍

Hey cap thanks for the vid but Pre planned mode is not working for me, I get within range, alt, and speed, but the JSOW just fly’s around the target way above its head
