@@arnostark3624 according to dota 2 wiki : -Reflects all damage dealt, including damage of non-hero units. Reflects incoming damage before all manipulations. However, damage manipulation on the enemy still affects the damage normally. Reflects the same damage type as received. Reflected physical damage is affected by damage block as well. Probably the reason as someone specified in the comments is the fact that there are immune to debuff : bkb and grimstroke ink illusion can’t be debuff (also bkb doesn’t make u immune to magical damage anymore, only to pure damage)

probably cos his laning is fairly weak, and in pro they communicate and can kite grim or focus on his silence ghost n shit which makes him less usefull.

He feels weird with classic support items but as 4 he is too squishy and easily kitable , he's good agressive 5 but he really needs atleast aether lens, personally i play him as 5 with arcane into lens and ethereal blade rush , then just buy dagon. Last 7 games i played him like that and I've been carrying from pos 5 with that shotgun build at 2k MMR , soulbind into ethereal with phantom embrace and his spell amp talent is almost 90% guaranteed double kill. One of most badass hero ever created.

Because his greatest ability relies on enemy playing an agi carry that builds strictly agi. Not to mention why would you need the enemy to be strong just so you can be. He used to be in pro games but that was when his shard used to be extremely strong and abusable. Now he's just meh and too slow to have an impact.

Tormentor reflects the damage it takes (the patch notes were wrong), so it would be doing physical not magic. Looks like it's just a bug that dark portrait illusions dont take the damage.

Tormentor reflects damage back as the same type. However, debuff immunity blocks all reflected damage, whether it's blademail, spec dispersion, or tormentor

@@Bleacher22 at the beginning it was only magical damage (that’s why most people were using pipe during the tormentor) but after a patch, they modify it and i realise crimson guard was really importznt so it makes your support more tanky (and not dying because pa crit 😅😅)

Dark Portrait illu is literally strongest illu among all hero in DotA, it gets debuff immune like cant be slowed, stunned, or reflect damage.

it's not. bkb prevent you from taking reflected damage, grimstroke ags copy had bkb, now it's debuff immunity, so it's pretty much how it supposed to work.

@@sunbro6998 no, they’re not copying items. What the other guy meant to say was that Grim’s illu has passive spell immunity by default. That’s what makes his aghast so strong since you can’t target it by most spells

I have 350 (win) - 270 (lose) with grimstroke. It's bully hero peeps hahahahahaha!!!! . But hard with hero like AM,Spectre,Morph,Drow,Storm,Qop,NP, (late game). But if i copycat enemy carry hero and kill their support properly (copy sniper is the fun one). A comeback is ensure!!! Grim in not effective against late-game tanker. magical resistance. Enemy rush gameplay is a GG for Grim.
