I'll give Cad & Rhet credit for their great choreography, Well rehearsed and hilarious as fuck. They both fed off eachother very well, but I felt as if, overall, Cadillac Ron spit MORE bars than Rheteric, while ATM & Deams consistently spit about the same amount of bars. Cad outshined his partner in a sense. Although, Cad & Ron were hysterical and had some killer bars, ATM & Deems had better personals and real hard hitting lines that neither Cad or Rhet could touch. ATM & Carter Deems FTW.

I have reason to believe Cad & Rhet, being that their performance was choreographed, included PLENTY of Pre-Meds in their verses. While ATM USUALLY spits off the top as does Carter. Both are great at freestyling. And with that skill of freestyling came basic set-ups to really good bars/personals. That "Vain/vein" line was insane wordplay. Sure Cad's been sober from drugs for years, but it can still be used as a personal, if done properly. I think ATM & Carter achieved that just by free'ing.

You can either fake an off-the-top by conjuring up bars in your mind before-hand (no matter how long ago) or writing them down to essentially practice them for a performance (emcee battle or "freestyle" lol).

I must say that Carter Deems is one of the top tier in his division and honestly his second round was kind of weak, but ATM was there to back him up, wtf? oh well, I have to say that it was a good battle and over all I don't care who won as this is a hilarious battle and one of the best 2v2 battles, if you replace ATM with anyone decent.

@MisterW00D You make alot of good points man. But being this is a 2on2, I just feel Cad outshined Rhet in a sense of amount of bars spit and content. Rhet only really came to life in the 3rd. While Cad was consistently dropping bars every round, It was like Rhet was only used for the team's back-and-forth rhyme schemes, while Cad carried the team. While ATM & Carter edged it as a whole. But yes i totally agree ATM & Carter lack the experience as emcees, but it doesn't mean you can't win battles.

funny as expected. Carter/ATM took round 1, came out strong. Round 2 was the closest but I'll give it to Caddy/Rhet--more energy than round 1. Round 3 was a near body for Caddy/Rhet. Respect to ATM/Carter for freestyling, but they fell off in the third, except for the ATM rebuttals on the John Mayer/ass to mouth lines. ATM made a lot of mistakes, Carter carried him mostly

First round went hands down to Rheteric and Cadallack Ron, EASY. Carter and ATM stumbled hard. Second round was hard to call on first listen. And Third, Rheteric and Ron came hard and Deems seemed to be wondering if ATM was EVER going to step in at the start of the round, but they picked it up and managed to salvage something there. Rheteric and Cadallack Ron in 2-0 or 3-1 (not sure what on earth you do when you can't call who got the round, failing that I'll give it to deems 2-1)

Maybe it was all free and Carter/ATM didn't have any premeds. I just was annoyed if the fact they're freestyling justifies saying they have more skill when I've heard both Rhet and Caddy freestyle without all the awkward pauses. How do you define premeds? If it being written means it's premeditated then fine. But premed means fake freestyle...
