djemtek well, literally anyone in any field isn't as good as when they were proving themselves, since you have to build a name for yourself, you put in 135% effort into it. A great example is Eminem. He had 3 albums with a real message behind it, trying to imply he can be lyrical and have heart. But after proving himself, its less of that and more proving his technical ability. So his music lost some of that heavy emotion he put in before. Same with Dizaster, his best battles are either rare nowadays or in the past especially his Caustic and Jerzy Swift battles. Now he's more about technical ability(ex: his battle vs Pat Stay which I honestly believe he 3-0'd). The rare moments include his 2 rounds vs Math, his 2nd vs Cortez, Pat Stay, and his first 2 rounds vs Cass. As an added bonus, to me a lot of punchlines Cass used were either some old 2003 shit or cringe worthy. He had 4 or 5 hype men, mixtape bars and his fame gave him a bit more crowd reaction. It was more people surprised that he had battle material that was hitting a bit. Plus his delivery is on Clips level, so another rapping salesman. If he had come into the battle how Ab-Soul did,I'd say 2-1 or even 3-0, but as is, 2-1 Diz. But that impersonation was hella funny, I'll give him that.
