@MrTHUGNASTY19 Basically, High Collide was 5-0 and technically had the best record (despite some of the battles being flukes, and he lost pretty badly to madness, but it was a promo, but if you see the match he still lost). Surgeon won a red bull freestyle competition (also won the 2 on 2 competiton) and they said whomever won that would get the title shot. Obviously it's they arent the best in the league, you could argue they aren't even mid tier, but it's a throw back to the old GT days.

First of all to everyone hating on this battle, we just came to expect too much out of battling now, don't get it twisted ths battle wasn't groundbreaking but it was still dope. I watched this battle mostly for Highcollide cause every now and then he's got a bars that make you go whoa BUT surgeon general came with more passion in this one so he really deserved it. Thesaurus gonna murk High Collide. I feel like Surgeon had some of the more hard-hitting bars in this battle, but High Collide was clearly more consistent and less on crack. What I would like to see after Thesaurus gets the belt, is him defending the title against the winner of Soul Khan vs Madness or Iron Solomon or Dizaster or Nocan.
