Sahtyre's shit actually had me laughing out loud. Usually when I watch a battle with two dope emcees, a hand full of lines in the whole battle might be like that but Sahtyre kept hitting with a lot of really funny punches. Dirtbag's second round was vicious but Sahtyre was pure comedy.

You could be right; however, Dumbfoundeads and Tantrums battles are pretty much the same experience. With them two, they can find ways to continue to battle for the most part and excite the crowd through their styles. With Dirtbag Dan, he lack that attribute in this battle vs Sahtyre!

Dope battle, but Sahtyre was the right decision. Dan came with some more personal shit while Saht pretty much made fun of him for being a hillbilly, but Saht was just funnier and had more energy. I know there was a lot of Swim Team/Blodians up in there too, but the crowd's reactions to Sahtyre's lines was the icing on the cake. He won.

Thank you. In Grind Time, an MC knows well in advance whom he will battle. Therefore, he makes the necessary preparations for lyrical combat. This is different from the Scribble Jam because an MC does NOT know whom he will battle from one round to the next, therefore, writtens are not advised. The goal for an MC in Grind Time is to win the battle: not prove to some 16 year old backpacking suburbanite that he can freestyle. The judges don't care, so why should you?
