Dumbledore's story is so sad and lonely, he is my favorite character. Too bad in movie 8 they ruined Grindelwald's story with that stupidity of telling V where the elder wand is. I really love your edits, make me so happy, I'm so in love with Gellert. FB4!!

Gellert did not say Albus's name but the film's did it so that Tom Riddle would 100% find the elder wand and died because of it. Gellert can see the future and knew that Tom Riddle would come to him. He even says it to Tom that he knew Tom would come to him. Also Gellert's authority within the magic world still remains even when he is jail.

Many agree with you but I get why they changed it in the film to show that both wizards knew each other and that they were very close. You did not get all of Gellert and Albus connections from just following Harry Potter's story in the 7th film.

One thing that I dislike about the wand scene is that is not sensual. I think it should have been filmed as two lovers dancing and fighting, who know each other so well they know the other one's every move. It would be emotional and remarkable. I wonder if Mad had that same thought process (being a professional dancer as well; having done Hannibal).

I think that is how they would have filmed it with Johnny Depp. I think his influence and ideas would have changed that whole scene.
