GRINDELWALD First - Top of Adventure, SWITZERLAND - Cliff Walk - First Flyer - First Glider

In this video of Living the Jo Life, we show our adventure-packed day at Grindelwald First - Top of Adventure, Switzerland. It was an epic day with lots of exciting fun and breathtaking scenery in the Swiss Alps. The cable car takes you up to the First Mountain, where you can go on the Cliff Walk, reach over 80 km/h on the First Flyer and the Glider, and scoot down the mountain on a Trottibike. We highly recommend these must-do activities when you visit Switzerland.

@@livingthejolife my trip to Switzerland was great but grindelwald first wasnt great… EVERYTHING was closed or had a 150min waiting line, when we went on the mountain walk thing there was also a huge line. I would like to go back but obviously I probably wont for another 20ish years or so bc i live in America

Yes it's absolutely stunning! The trotti bike was our favourite! Once you get down the bottom of the hill you take the bike up to where you take the cable car up. They collect the trotti bikes there. I would definitely allow a full day to get the most out of everything. I wished that we had of started earlier. I hope you have a great trip. Thanks for watching and supporting our new channel 😊

Thank you! Yes we were there in early May. The weather was fantastic! There was so clouds coming and going but no rain. Very few tourists which was great! We went to First at 10am. Good luck with your trip 🙂

We just used a phone strap. You can buy on Amazon. That way you don't have to worry about dropping your phone. Have an awesome time! You will love it. Definitely do the trotti bikes! Thanks for watching 😊

Thank you! 🙏 We bought the three activity adventure package. I don't think the travel pass gives you discounts for these activities. We paid CHF 106 for adults and CHF 71 for children. It includes three activities of your choice and the cable car. The cable car is unlimited. You can ride up and down as many times as you want. At the end of the day we decided to ride the trotti bike for a second time because we loved it so much. We bought tickets at the Bort Middle Station. Have a great time!

Buying tickets is not completely straight forward but here is a website that may help. We bought a package at the 'first' ticket office in Grindelwald. We did gondola and 3 activities. However, we loved the trotti bikes so much that we bought tickets for a second ride. The gondola is unlimited. Thanks for watching! Jungfraujoch is within a no drone flying zone. We used some stock footage to compliment our video. There were helicopters flying quite low over the area so it makes sense that you can't fly drones there.

What is that your using to hold your phone on the glider? The stick thingy. My daughter and I are going to Grindelwald at the end of September and I was going to look into getting a GoPro but I think if we just get some phone accessories that should suffice.

Thank you for watching. We went on different days. Theoretically you could do both locations on the same day but it would be super rushed and you wouldn't have time to fully enjoy yourself. I would definitely suggest putting aside two days.

During summer they may extend the opening hours. In that case you could go up to Jungfraujoch on the first train and then spend the afternoon at Grindelwald First. It would be a busy but awesome day! Really loved those trotti bikes at First! So much fun and the scenery is spectacular! Good luck.

@@artinanal550 Oh sorry I forgot about the DJI action cam. Just used that on the two flying activities. We have actually retired that device because it overheats very easily. Wouldn't recommend it at this stage until they fix that issue. We now have the insta360.
