Pretty nice tool for sanding handrails. Looks really professionel. I like the way you build the flat nuts. 👌

Thanks Sam. Flat nuts looks much nicer, my local store doesn't sell those.. so i have always made them by my self.

Some good news; I located a North American version of this grinder a couple of days ago. I can either get the 110v variant, or the 220v if I decide to use a step-up transformer.

Why the likes of Bosch or Metablo have not approached you to work as a design engineer and pay you a million dollars for your ideas is beyond me. Great as usual Toumas

Thanks Peter. 😁 I have done some co-op with two smaller companies.. But, it takes too much time and just drawing plans ain't my favourite thing to spend time.. its better this way.

Wonderfully over-engineered design, typical of Swedish attention to detail. Cheers. keep up the good work.

😁 I wanted to minimaze the used material. Next time i try something similar kind of structure with a "real size" belt sander ( 60mm x 1000mm belt size and 2.5hp motor. )

The Finnish Linisher...Love it. Masterful fabrication and Finnishing. ;-P Are the belts standard size? Looks like a 50mm x ??? Nicely done to your fine standards!! Thanks Bud!

Those belts are 30 x 533mm. But it can be used with 30 x 620mm belts too. I had to buy those longer belts from online store, it takes two weeks to get them. There is those " slots " in the arms where i place longer spring when using longer belts. Originally this was designed for those longer belts. But.. i didn't want to wait until those belts arrive. ( I made this to competition that closes within 8 days )

Mulla voisi olla yksi sulle sopiva jemmassa, täytyy vain etsiä siihen moottori. Tuota tarviin oikeasti itse. Tuntuu toimivan hyvin kaikenlaisten kahvojen hionnassa.
