Grinding Machine Foot Powered | Homemade Tool DIY

Looks great and gives me some cool ideas, I would recommend that you dress the wheel to stop the tools from bouncing. You may also find that some of the wobble can be taken out by just rotating the stone on the spindle, I had a similar issue with a hand cranked grinding wheel.

Very cool mechanisim, and creative too. One suggestion though from one woodworking gal to another,dont try and free hand your chisels on that grinding wheel. Its much to rough to get a good cutting edge on it. You need to use either an oil stone or a wet stone. You may have just been demonstrating how it works. If you get the wobble out of the stone, so it runs smoothly, replace it with a finer grit stone if you choose to sharpen cutting tools on it. The stone you have on it now, is awesome for shaping metal, or taking a lot of wood off before sanding. I like your creativity and your willingness to challenge yourself. I look forward to future videos of yours. ;>)

Einfach genial......ich würde eine M 20 Gewindestange oder gezogenen Rundstahl 16 mm und am Ende ein Gewinde schneiden . Dann läuft die Maschine wie ein Uhrwerk 👌

Danke! Und danke für die Tipps. Bei dem Projekt hab ich sehr viel gelernt, also ist es letztlich nur ein Prototyp, den ich irgendwann neu bauen werde. Es wird noch mehr kommen in die Richtung.

Ich mag auch die Art deiner Videos, sie wirken so (mir fällt jetzt leider kein besseres Wort ein) "echt" und man merkt, wieviel Arbeit Du hinein steckst! Ich wünsche Dir, dass Dein Kanal wächst und Du so "realistisch" bleibst!

Hallo, vielen Dank für deinen Kommentar! Ich baue Dinge, die ich wirklich brauche oder ausprobieren möchte. Und das mit meiner eigenen Note versehen. Ich baue das nicht nur, um ein Video für YT zu drehen. Vielleicht ist das der Grund, warum es authentisch wirkt. Ich freue mich, wenn es so rüber kommt. Warum ich die Schleifmaschine gebaut habe, das hat mehrere Gründe. Ich finde es schade, dass es so etwas heutzutage bei uns nicht mehr zu kaufen gibt. Es ist simpel, es läuft stromlos, es funktioniert. In diesem Bereich möchte ich noch mehr machen. Das sind (für mich) interessante, aber auch zeitaufwendigere Projekte. Ich freu mich, wenn du dran bleibst!

Nice try, but you need to understand wood engineering so that thing isn’t so rickety. You won’t be hollow grinding to precision with that thing.

The thing is not perfect, I absolutely agree with you. It was my first try, it's a prototype that I can now improve. It's learning by doing.
