I just received mine two days ago. It looks like a beast. Thanks for the video. I will be making some videos on my own channel. I made one last night about setting up the PTO slip clutch. Thanks again.

@@r-ranchadventures Thank you very much, I appreciate you. I was hoping to explain it where anyone could understand what that thing actually does and why. I subscribed to you BTW. Thanks again. I am in South Arkansas, so we have the same geography. LOL

Great video, very well explained. Been looking at getting one and this may help me to go ahead and make the decision to get one. Thanks for sharing. Also subbed to your channel.

Thank you so much. We could not be happier with our stump grinder. It is my favorite attachment. If you use code SHON5%OFF YOU CAN TAKE ANOTHER 5% off the price. MechMaxx was kind enough to give us a discount code when we requested one. Let us know if you get one.

Do you have separate rpm for pto and transmissiom on your tractor or do you put it in low gear and just creep as slow as possible with rpm high to run the stumpgrinder?
@r-ranchadventures8 күн бұрын
@@KenSteidle great question. Only one transmission so yes, low gear and high RPM while running the stump grinder.

What's the biggest stump you have used it on, how long the those pines been cut? Thanks That grinder looks like a Woodland mills
@r-ranchadventures2 ай бұрын
The largest stump we have removed to date is about 14” in diameter. The stumps we have removed in the video ranged from being cut that day, to a few months old, and the oldest about 2 years old. Yes the MechMaxx looks identical to the Woodland Mills.

@@r-ranchadventures From what I can tell they are identical and the MM is considerably cheaper so thats the way I went 3 months go and never looked back.

I ground a 5 foot Douglas Fir stump. It took me about 2 hours to grind out. You need to take your time with little bites to save your tractor. Uneven pround makes grinding difficult.
@r-ranchadventures2 ай бұрын
I have not tackled anything near that size, I can see how that one took a while. I do understand what you mean about the uneven ground, it adds a tad bit more to the challenge.

The company I work for sells farm equipment under our own brand. MechMaxx is selling a baler that is a cheap copy of our baler's design and they copied & pasted the content of our manual, including pictures and everything. If they have to steal other companies' support and technical content, what does it say about their integrity as a company and their knowledge & support of their products?

We aim to review products based on their quality, performance, and value, but we understand that a company’s ethics can play a big role in purchasing decisions. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
