Agora todo mundo fala bem do tio dele o Tim Maia, mas quem tem um pouco mais de idade vai lembrar que o Tim era alvo de piadas o tempo todo por ser gordo e fora de outros padrões de beleza além de cantar de um jeito que na época muita gente não compreendia e faziam piada do estilo dele também, o Ed estava começando no mesmo caminho e eu lembro bem quando ele foi anunciado pela primeira vez se não me engano na revista Veja ou talvez Manchete como um rapaz que largou os estudos, só isso, não falavam dele como alguém talentoso, puro preconceito e discriminação do mesmo jeito que aconteceu com o tio, agora todo mundo puxa o saco do Tim e se chateia por o Ed ter dito que preferia não se apresentar pra brasileiros, mas cada um sabe o que já passou nesse país racista e preconceituoso que adora enlatados e comoção midiática.
