This is definitely my favorite verse from him in a while. To me, it doesn't matter how technical or how many punchlines/bars you have. I mean if you can do all that but also sound sonically pleasing, then that would be perfect. But for Em, it's usually one or the other. Most of his new stuff is very technical and complex, but it's not sonically pleasing. This one was extremely sonically pleasing. This is what I like. That Nas feature was a heavy miss for me. It didn't sound good at all, no matter how technical his rap was.

EM was much more chill here while rhyming n flow was insane as always he wasn't as word play heavy. I believe EM did it this way intentionally tho too so he could really help showcase and push his newest addition to Shady Records meaning EM again showcased his Genius not jus with a verse but by doing his in a way that elevated the entire track and allowed Grip to be on closer footing. Had EM done is normal insane bar heavy genius level stuff it would have again like most times he is featured made us forget someone was on the Track with him.
