"I understand your point. To me, I think they were trying to give us a new generation without changing the world. Personally, I like these seasons-keyword: like, not love. I definitely will say the earlier seasons are better, and I do wish they had decided to explore the worlds of these characters through their experiences instead. I don’t mind the school, actually; I think it’s a decent idea, executed somewhat poorly. We never really get to explore what this school actually teaches. I feel like if this were G5 instead-say we followed Twilight's niece or maybe the Cake twins as they go through school, meeting dragons and other creatures, maybe even the CMC, and truly got to learn the lessons they needed-this would have made for a better execution than what this turned out to be. and I love cozy glow. Thanks for subscribing. And I will admit, I would l would have loved it it if Flurry or the Cake Twins became new leads since they have a direction connection to the Mane 6, and were established prior. It'd would be nice seeing these characters growing up and developing more.

I agree and disagree at the same time. The young six had some episodes that gave them some decent development, such as The Hearth’s Warming Club showing us that there’s more to Gallus than just being sarcastic and tough, She’s All Yak showing us that there’s more to Yona than just her loving to stomp, even What Lies Beneath brough out their personalities a bit more, mainly what each of them are afraid of. But the thing is we needed more of those kinds of episodes yet so they could have been developed even further. Also, the idea of Cozy Glow being a child villain isn’t bad by default, as other cartoons have had child villains, but imprisoning her was unfair, especially when they gave Starlight a chance, but not her. I don’t think seasons 8 and 9 were the dumpster fire many claim them as, but they could have been better in certain areas, such as the forementioned ones.

I get that. I won't deny the Student Six had good moments. Their characters have amazing potential, but they really needed more work. Silverstream and Ocellus had the most potential IMO. I would have liked for them to have more character focused episodes. I get that Cozy Glow being a child villain isn't anything new. Aside from Baby Doll (well technically an adult in a kid's body, but somewhat close), I remember characters like Princess from Powerpuff Girls, and Cozy Glow's other inspiration, Darla Dimple. (I admit, I felt bad for those girls too at times). I would not have minded her being a villain if it was done well. A misguided filly is an interesting idea, but she just came across as so one-dimensional. She really needed some type of backstory or something. I don't hate Seasons 8 or 9, they had some good moments, but some plots felt so forced in or rushed that it just let me down. MLP really needed at least one more Season. (I'm aware that the comics had a Season 10, but it needed more than that).

I don't really have a problem with how FIM ended but after what happened with the fast cancelation of G5 I think the best thing Hasbro can do is make a sequel series staring Twilight's student Luster Dawn and her own group of friends that will make up the new Mane 6.

@@stormdash2341 The best thing they could do story wise is have a brand-new villain show up to free Tirek Chrysalis and Cozy Glow so they can form a team to take over Equestria and only Luster Dawn can stop them by forming a group of friends and reviving the Tree of Harmony.

Honestly Cozy Glow should have been a fake identity made by Chrysalis to infiltrate the school, only to grow to care about the friends she made along the way. Such as the CMC and Student 6. Now for the finale? I think the Mean 3 should have WON, drained all magic from everypony. And the student 6 manage to help the Mane 6 regain magic through friendship, but this magic is ENDLESS and the bell hits it's limit and just BREAKS. Releasing the magic back to their owners, while also draining the users of the bell. I.e the Mean 3 lose ALL their abilities, flight and cutiemark included. As well as gives magic to being that had none, such as Earth Ponies, etc. *the OG Grogar possibly took again their magic permanently back then* Or they win, but the Windegos can't be stopped and end up overwhelming them, and they have to accept friendship.

This honestly seems more like problems with season 8 cause the title made it seem like seasons 8 & 9. Plus one character you might’ve forgotten about and in my opinion one of the worst MLP FIM characters ever “Chancellor Neighsay”

Oh yeah, I should have gotten into that. That two-parter was frustrating in its own right. There's other stuff from the latter two Seasons that I wasn't fond of either. Maybe I'll revisit this in the future.

Cozy Glow is evil She is 100% evil and the writers knew what they were doing with her She is not ''redeemable'' because she is too evil I'm kind of tired of hearing people defending how to redeem a character who was born to be bad for the story It does not give If it did, Cozy Glow would be a different character As it is, it is impossible to work She's evil and manipulative, she can't be talked to (because she's not trustworthy in any way) and not even the terrible punishment in Tartarus shook her. I know it's still a shock what they did to her, but she's evil, that's it. So much so that if I were an adult or teenager I wouldn't have all this regret I also don't think I dislike her or think she's a poorly written character or just bad in general, that's what I think. Also i use translator, i know english but not too much, sorry any problems

Yeah! That girl literally took pleasure in beating up/fighting Twilight and her friends. Seeing others suffer brings her such joy! That girl’s just straight up irremediable and pure evil! #cozyglowisirremediable

yeah I also don't think she's redeemable. i don't necessarily hate cozy glow, I think she probably could've been fleshed out a little more as a character but she's irredeemable. she takes pleasure in hurting others, despite being given an opportunity to be in the school of friendship and make friends. she had a chance to sit down and be like "y'know what? i love these ponies. they're sweet to me, and I think-" but no she wanted power 😭

I don't blame anyone for thinking that cozy didn't deserve to be immediately thrown to tartarus. rushing the plot in order to get the show finished by 2019 definitely messed some things up

Cozy glow litterly says she is evil, doesn't have a reason to be evil she just wants power just like the other 3. The point of those villains is to show that not everyone should be redeemed. Also not really a twist villian pretty sure everyone knew she was after like 1 episode of her. No one bronies react was surprised, I wasn't surprised not one person I know was like "What she's evil?"😂 Also being a child does not excuse actions, if a child is a phycopath then they are simly are one not anything that can be done about it. Also we just gonna forget that Discord did try to reform them but failed. If someone theatens an entire nation I think you can take them out. No exceptions.
