Hi, Can we travel from coonoor to Ooty by train by taking the unreserved tickets from the ticket counter at the station or do we have to have the confirm reservation, please reply

Hi Ajay! Yes you can take tickets from the ticket counter too however I would recommend to book it online to avoid queues and also to get confirmed tickets as sometimes the tickets are sold out at the counter, hope this helps!

Hi Lisa, you can get cab in Ooty - Coonoor almost everywhere, for day 1 we booked it through our hotel and for day 2 we found the cab driver near the railway station in Ooty that had approached us.
