I'd rather see the finishing part (cutting the tooth down and polishing it to the shape you want) than the caries removal and tooth build up. That is the part with the most important details. If possible do a video on that WITH COMMENT. Nice job and thank you for sharing! 👍👏

Your end result might look nice but for people who view this, specially dental students, please understand that most of his technique is wrong, it would've been much better if he took an index in this case to start with. He doesn't use wedges (there's a reason we use them as it eliminates the space the matrix was occupying and give proper contour), those central incisors will have a black triangle, the composite was not used in increments which will increase the polymerization shrinkage causing it to quickly stain and have recurrent caries, this might look nice now, but this is a very poorly done restoration.

This is such a load of crap. I am a dentist. You don't need to use a wedge if using a metal matrix and finger pressure... You just hold the matrix against the tooth. You also don't need to worry too much about polymerisation shrinkage when restoring a tooth externally. That's more for internal stresses on molar teeth so it doesn't shrink away from the margins.

Also... That's not why wedges are used... A wedge is more likely to create a black triangle on an anterior tooth and typically black triangles are more of a concern between laterals and canines. He build a shell and restored in around 2mm increments anyway... Width of the tooth not the height dingus... So there will be very little shrinking anyway. Do a masters in restorative dentistry and work for 15 years before putting such crap out there and criticising someone elses work
