Grizzly bears cause a ruckus in Yellowstone National Park. The mother grizzly and her cub walk on the hillside and the grizzly cub runs after some birds. Then both bears start to make their way towards the road where a lot of tourists are parked to observe them. At first it is not clear as to why they went down to the road with so many people in their way, but you soon see the mother grizzly grab the road kill and then run back up the hill. She then gives the road kill to her cub to eat. The video was taken near Yellowstone Lake. The handheld video was shot from our car with a zoom lens.

Being honest you would never see black people getting out the car. You're kind of supposed to make a lot of noise out in the wild, so they don't stumble on you on accident. Noise also helps wildlife to be less likely to come closer to the source of the noise. The only thing the loudmouths are really ruining is the experience of other tourists.

Before my son became a park ranger, he worked at Yellowstone at the service stations. One time when I was visiting him, and he was off duty, we saw a bunch of people collected on the top of a rise, he jumped out of the car and sprinted came back and told me come on, there's a grizzly eating a bison.! Well, it was quite a distance away but you could see without binoculars exactly what it was. I know that bear can run as fast as 30 to 40 mph, and it doesn't take them anytime to hit this be, it's instant. All of the people were talking and laughing and I just felt like telling everyone to shut up, you jerks, it's a grizzly! I finally couldn't stand Standing There anymore, honestly I was getting too nervous. But I have seen such amazing things. I finally moved to Montana three months ago, and have already visited yellowstone, it was just before the floods. That is such a tragedy but I agree with somebody here that said that a lot of the animals will have a break from the idiot tourists.

Most humans wouldn't survive in the wild, but they would survive in civilization if no one killed/harmed them...... I have a question. Is there a phone number that a person can call if they see anyone harassing any animal in national parks? I truly hate people who think they can just walk up to a wild animal and think it is domesticated. I love wildlife, but I stay in my vehicle. Glad the vehicle was there to stop the bears until we saw an animal in one of the bear's mouths.

Probably not. As I have mentioned before, my son was a ranger in many national parks, he happened to be working at the service stations in Yellowstone and that's why he became a ranger. But, how do you report someone? Even if you gave their license plate, you know how hard they would be to find in a 3200 Mile square area? I totally agree with you, and as I have mentioned before, my son absolutely hated the tourists that wouldn't listen or pay attention. He was constantly hollering at people.

@@marcialussier2467 l agree, but what about the woman from the Midwest who taunted a Mother bear? She was found because of a video. I'm sure there are ways of finding people who taunt and bully animals. Next time, I'm in a national park l will ask for a phone number and see if the Park Ranger will give the number to me. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. These people must be reported. I do not want the animals euthanized just because of some stupid people.

@@melissawarfield I just sent him this question, awaiting his answer. I might have to wait till tomorrow, he might be sleeping. ****Hey, on a wildlife video at yellowstone, someone asked if there is some way that you can report someone who is taunting or disturbing animals. Somebody asked if maybe you could get the number from a park ranger or something. Someone else mentioned that some woman who was taunting a bear was caught because people took a video. So what can someone do if they see that happen? Report a license plate or something? Who do they report it to? Did you ever have to deal with this?***

Apparently & previously last year, I viewed this Short Video. But apparently I didn't make any comments at the Time. Now I'll just Say that the Moron Tourist's seemed pretty Mellow, Calm, not Out Gee Jawing, & Rambunctious as Normal. So the Ranger's could Properly Monitor the quite Risky, as well as Unpredictable, & unique Encounter as it Developed. Because the Sow & Her Adolescent youth we're most definitely after the Road Killed Marmot for Food. This Showed how Opportunistic the Grizzlies Can be, when it comes to Hunting, & also just Foraging for anything,& everything available. Thanks for Sharing.

When I was logging in northern B.C. Meziaden..A tourist tried to see how close he could get to the bears fishing on the Nass River, (we always stopped there to watch the bears before heading up to camp Meziaden). He wound up losing his leg....I personaly went to the hospital in Kitimat where they eventually flew him out to Vancover,to give him a card. I wrote "Have fun with only one leg for the rest of your life for one moment of pure stupidity" TRUE STORY!
