I have 4gb ram with integrated i3 graphics, but I work around it in an interesting way, IGPU's like hd 4000 usually takes 128-280mb ram, windows takes up 200mb ram, gra 5 actually needs 3.8gb ram to run smoothly l, so I end windows explorer and only have essentials running to play gta 5, kinda like what the xbox 360 did, so now, I play 720p low on this setup

Whats most important is cpu and gpu, i have i5 8th gen and 1050ti and i always could run gta v smoothly, with most settings at high and some at medium. Even though 16gigs of ram is recommended. For gta 5 if you have 8gb ram then that's the best you can go the next real deal is gpu which if has 1 gb vram then it will run on low to mid settings and if higher then can run at better settings. Also 10 gb and 12 gb are only viable if you are planning to use mods however 8gb is still enough for a lot of mods

Yesterday I installed gta 5 on my old laptop. I bought it in 2016. Brand model ACER ASPIRE ES1-571-C9W5 . Features; Intel Celeron 2957U @ 1.40GHz cpu , Intel HD Graphics (Haswell) , original 4 gb ddr3 (later added +2gb ram) 6gb total ram , FPS 30-20 , fps drops , Images are very poor and poor quality. more so your CPU and integrated GPU that are causing bad performance, as seen in this video 6gb is enough for GTA5. Your CPU is a 10 year old low end 2 core laptop processor, with really bad speeds, I mean the bare minimum I would recommend is like 4GHZ yours is 1.4GHZ. Also 2 cores is not enough for gaming even GTA5. Integrated GPU's are also usually pretty bad, so yeah I'm suprised it even booted.

The RAM doesnt matter too much if you dont have a good processor or a good graphics card, I have a 2 GB graphics card Nvidia, 8GB of RAM, a intel core i5 of 7th generation with windows 10 64bits infrastructure and I can ensure what the game runs at like 50-60 estable FPS with graphics good and all sht, good luck

Strange I ran this game on a 660ti when it first came out which was a 2GB Card. Of course I had to turn a lot of settings down to get a reasonable Frame rate. But nothing like the extreme you did. But that was back when the game came out on PC so things could have changed since then. I know Rockstar seems to have gotten lazier.

@@islamimanli5155 yes 4gb will work on any computer however to get a much smoother experience getting 8gb over 4gb will show a big performance increase and with 8gb you can smoothly run most applications where as only having 4gb means some usefull apps may not work or might work very poorly. 8gb is becoming the norm as most sensibly priced and modern systems have 8gb of ram as the base model but 4gb systems are still sold but modern new devices with 4gb of ram is typically found in low-end systems which meet the minimum requirements to run the operating system in the first place

Higher fps doesn't mean better because It's impossible to beat gta 5 because you can't complete the mission "repossession" because the red car shifts so much that it' keeps failing the mission over and over again until you cap your fps If you ask me I recommend to play GTA 5 on 6gb or 8gb of ram Or 4 if you don't have that kind of powerful pc

It only shifts if you fail the mission by staying near the car. After that it shifts during the cutscene so I'm pretty sure if you skip it and immediately run away you can do it
