The Taiwan Land Rover Club members are legendary!!!
What happened on this weekend event changed our lives...
Since arriving in Taiwan we have been experiencing a whole new level of hospitality and kindness.
In this video we attend a Land Rover club meeting. Little did we know it would be a weekend like nothing we have ever experienced in our lives.
Offroad trails, awesome people, incredible location and yummy food.
We were the guests of honour and were officially welcomed into the club during a very special evening of celebrations.
The TLRC celebrated our achievement in driving our Land Rover Defender all the way from France to Taiwan over 4 years of overland travel.
It was a very special occasion for us and we can't thank all those that attended enough.
We will never forget this weekend.
Join us as we travel the world overland, exploring the cultures and traditions of all the countries we visit.
In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.

I am English so it was a pleasure to see our flag being used on the TLRC badge. How wonderful Taiwan seems to be: I think I enjoyed your video almost as much as you obviously enjoyed your day. My only experience of Taiwan was a refuelling stop at Taipei airport en route from Vancouver to Kuala Lumpur. Confined to a grim little room at the airport for two or three hours gave no impression of the beauty of the place. Two more points: (1) I am learning French so the sub titles in French are very helpful to me! (2) Sorry but the music background is sometimes too loud for my taste but I love everything else about your videos and your adventures.

I 4wd in Australia, ppl are not as friendly to each other... 7:11 she is a famous Taiwanese TV star, filmed lots of Taiwanese local soap operas many years ago 😂 many famous lines from her. She seems so friendly in person, even wave to your camera 😄 she was trying to stop that guy introducing her as a super star, very cute and humble.

We were shown photos of a new Defender that was taken straight from the showroom to the trails. They use them for what they're built for that's for sure. The new Defender did require $10,000 of repair work and a recovery but an awesome story all the same 😜
