I totally agree, that mountain road is one of the best that I have rode. It cost 24 euros in July 2017 when I did it on my way to Croatia from England on my MT07. It is well worth the cost but I did it a little slower to enjoy the views. You were obviously enjoying the ride so thanks for sharing it with us. Ride safe.

It has probably already been said earlier but with all those comments I am not going to check. The idea of the circles on the hairpin bends increasing in size until you reach the apex, is brilliant. Add to that the fact that riding through them ensures you don't hang your skull in the opposite lane adds to the safety factor hugely. Something that should be used more broadly.
@AndyManCam2 жыл бұрын
I totally agree! Not only is it safer, but it makes the riding so much more enjoyable! Passes like the Stelvio are undeniably spectacular, but there are no end of people who manage to ditch their bikes on those impossibly tight zig-zags!

Love the scenery side shots using the 360. Not using the rear brake and trail braking the front brake is all the rage these days, which I suppose is fine if you're on a race track but no good on roads. Trust your ear is on the mend. 👍. Catch phrase from the TV character Uncle Staveley's in the sitcom I Didn't Know You Cared springs to mind. 🤭😉

Oh hell no! I’d sooner go in a car! 😂 OK, not strictly true, but they’re just so not my kind of bike! Cheers Peter!

What an amazing place! Such well kept roads despite the walls of snow, shows how useless our councils are 😂

It’s amazing isnt it! And to think that it was closed until literally a few days before this, due to sudden snowfall. They really do know how to clear a road!

Definitely try out an Energica if you get the chance they're really nice! I need to take mine over the channel for a little alpine adventure sometime later this year.

I’d love to! TBH, if i had a bit more money in the bank, I’d already be riding one or other of the electric bikes full time. I’m a big fan!
