Thanks for this video! I’ve FINALLY got strong enough WiFi to use Grobo in my RV😛 and I’m FINALLY set up and growing! The locking is still an issue, but we’ll revisit that well after the grow is through and harvested. This machine is PERFECT for me and my lifestyle.

Ok, for something that has space for one plant it sure costs a lot. BCNL do something called a Bloombox. Same amount of hassle, but you can grow, clone and raise from Mother plant and cultivate more plants. The only thing the Groton has going for it are it’s aesthetics.

@@GroboGrow When there’s a Grobo that holds four plants, I’ll consider it, otherwise it’s too pricey for one plant for me. Aesthetically it’s stylish and elegant and space age, very nice, but not practical if you’re growing different strains or wish to produce clones.

@@GroboGrow I live in a small apartment, so i know the pain, but was still able to fit a 3x3x6ft AND a 2x2x3ft tent, both including all extra costs were still cheaper then the price for the Grobo, which looks to be around a 1x1x4ft setup? I like the idea, but wish it could cost less in the future so the average person could afford it? happy growing!

The price is always going to be the biggest issue. Something like this SHOULD be marketed to college students, seniors, people living in incredibly small apartments, and shit like that. But because of the price that makes it impossible to market it to them. The people who NEED this _can't_ afford it, and the people who _can_ afford it don't NEED it. If I had $2,000 just laying around I could literally buy a two-story shed from Home Depot to grow in, get all the equipment I need, and STILL have money left over to buy a half pound of weed.

Who is the target market for this? I'm so confused by the price. What light is this using and how can you justify that price?

Great question. I find that we fit well with new growers that are really limited in their space and are not consuming cannabis at the levels I do. Yet. You can pull a couple ounces every 4 month without doing much work. It's a deep water culture unit, so fun to play with hydro instead of soil with automated doing and pH balancing. The light is our own design and is 8 spectrum pushing out 30-40 moles per day. It's a beast...

@@paulie6446 yeah not going to lie built a high tech tent that can grow more. And is more efficient for less. First plant in my grobo died. It was suppose to be the best plant out of all of them but ended up the worse... trying again to see what I did wrong. I will say this. Do not drain your grobo with your plant in it. You will kill your plant. They don't say that on any of the videos. the app is nothing more then a timer. Which is heart breaking given thats the justification for such an expensive book locker. There is no details in the app on anything. I also think it forgot to tell me to change the water. Why have a PH sensor if I can not see my PH in the app? This seems like such a simple add that is being overlooked. Why can't I create my own recipes, adjust dosages, read temperatures, e.t.c. I am guessing they are not a tech company and have no idea really how to sell their software. I guess I should have answered my own questions and spent the money on a 2nd high tech tent.
