Hi there, May I ask what's the Secret Shawl Society? Can anyone join? These two lovely sisters have now gotten me hooked on knitting shawls. I'm currently knitting one called Wildheart by Janina Kallio on Ravelry. And as soon as that is finished I'm all over that Pure Joy Shwal.

Hi Ladies, I love watching your show. You remind me of myself and I knit gal pal. We love you guys. Would it be to much if both of you would say the names of the colors of the yarn and where it can be found that you used and are going to use in your Pure Joy Shawl. Miss Jodi yours is amazing. And Miss Tracy I can't wait to see yours in those awesome colors. Thanks so much ladies.

Hi track and Jodi.😀 I just wanted to tell you two that this is by far my favorite knitting podcast channel and I have a pattern suggestion for you. The doodler shawl by Stephen west. I wasn't sure if you two liked his patterns but I know you two would love this one. I'm knitting mine right now out of this gorgeous malabrigo and you traci mentioned you wanted to knit a shawl of your mcn. This would be the perfect shawl. I'll send you mine over Instagram.

Tracie.....how many half pairs of socks do you have. Sometimes, it stresses me out when you talk about it, lol. I suffer from second sock syndrome often, but I always cast on the 2nd one right away. I cant handle having an unpaired sock. My husband too...he only buys black socks so that they always match!

Tracie, somewhere could you please explain further what you mean by 'alternating yarn'? I am not a real fan of it being obvious in a knitted project, when the yarn is done so if you wouldn't mind saying a little more about that, I would really appreciate it!!
@hayleygibson17327 жыл бұрын
I noticed no one replied to you! Basically you switch between the two balls of yarn every two rows or so and it blends in the colours so you can't tell that there's a difference. You use the same method that you would for different coloured stripes!

Thanks a million. I appreciate it!!

I enjoy your podcasts, but I'm distracted wondering why Jodi isn't looking at the camera, what is she looking at? Tracie is looking at us, doesn't Jodi like us? Lol. Well, to be fair, sometimes Jodi looks at us, but seriously, not being a podcaster myself, can you clue me in? I've noticed some other podcasters doing this too and I always wonder why.
