Hello everyone! So many of you have been asking about the fires here. I wanted to let you know that we are all okay! The fire isn't close to us, and we are so thankful that we haven't been affected by the fires. Thank you all so much for your thinking of us.

Randi, maybe for Instagram, you can show how you plan out your cleaning/upkeep/outdoor schedule daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally etc. I know people always ask you about planning things out in the comments section. Maybe give an overview and then get granular as makes sense. That should give you a series of posts. You can also post info on your workout routine, your paperwork system, how you plan out projects like your painting/trim project. For shorts, Ace can help out with content with his sweet face! Looking forward to seeing your first post. I always go to cleaning when I am avoiding something. It's fun to see something we have in common since I don't have your flair for decorating, organizing or cleaning! 🤣

This has been one of the most devastating fire seasons. I also live in So. Cal, near where the fire in November 2024 hit Camarillo, we have many family members that had to evacuate their homes, fortunately they were all lucky not to their homes destroyed but there is still the issue of smoke damage. Even though we are not too close to where the fires happening, you still can get some of the smoke smells in things like fabrics that need to be washed out or refreshed. During this time I pray for the winds to stop, for the people who have lost so much and for the firefighters who fight these fires.

The firefighters always do such a good job protecting property, but the winds made it impossible this time. Heart breaking. 💔

So glad you are not in danger from the fires. We are having bushfires in Australia too, although not in Adelaide where I am thankfully. But our summers are very hot and dry so bushfires are common here. As for Instagram, pictures of Ace will be appreciated by those of us who are dog lovers! I clean for about 15 minutes a day...but that would make a boring video. 😂 each day I have the daily reset, laundry, clean for 15 and then daily reset and zone cleaning on the weekend. Thank you!

Hi there! Many factors are considered such as fire history, existing and potential fuel (natural vegetation), predicted flame length, blowing embers, terrain, and typical fire weather for the area. Basically, we don’t live close to undeveloped land with brush that can fuel a fire.
