GROCERY HAUL - One Month, 11 People, Mostly COSTCO!

We switched it up a little this month and decided to try and get all our groceries for the month at a place we have rarely been to - COSTCO! We had to shop a little more elsewhere but it was a fun experiment. Come see what we got and how it faired for our budget!

❤️❤️❤️ shopping at Costco. Prefer it over Sam’s Club even if I have to spend more. Place is much cleaner and people are much friendlier. Also the granola bars are near where you got the big jars of pretzels. Costco has everything spread out because they want you to go up & down each aisle (LOTS of exercise). Plus they move around things, so they get you to buy more and impulse buy. PS: The Kirkland toilet paper is horrible now. They changed suppliers.

My local costco is also always packed. Any time of day, any day of the week. I gave up my membership because I just couldn't handle the crowds for only a few dollars difference with what I buy. Not worth it for me!

Mine is packed from the minute it opens till they toss you out at closing. But I live in Los Angeles. In Nebraska they don't have 10 million people in the county like I do. I just brave it when I need to go and never ever on a weekend.

A year or so ago I decided to do a full week of meatless meals and see how long it took my family to realize I hadn’t served meat. We usually have one or two meatless meals weekly anyways so they weren’t too suspicious. I made it to the very last meal and finally blew my own cover. None of them realized they’d had an entirely vegetarian week! I’ll email you the meals I served that week. We saved money too. We’re a family of 10.❤️So thrilled to have found your channel!

The whole time you were saying you couldn't find bagels I was yelling "look over by the bakerryyyy" theyre over by the sweets at my store and they go for around $6 a dozen. And if you're in the calorie splurge mood the croissants are a dreaaaammmm and I believe they're the same price!

You can put flour in the freezer! My mom used to get those big bags and then would scoop out enough for our flour container then put the rest of it in the freezer

Yep. I put all my flour, oats, semolina, potato flakes and sugar in the freezer, basically anything that weevils love goes in the freezer

I am an adoptive mom of 3 children from Honduras... your haul really inspired me to do some serious meal planning! I know I'd save money if I had a better plan. I do my extra shopping at the Hispanic market for the red beans and Honduran cream that my children prefer. You can order some things online at Costco - not nearly enough - TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, some snacks. It helps to not have to haul those things in store.
