Can’t wait for the pizza dough, twice baked potatoes, and hot pockets! My story with feeding my girls, I would make one meal as well. However, and I believe not one way of parenting on this topic is any better than anothers, I let them choose how they wanted to alter it to their liking, but that was on them. Two out of five of the girls were picky eaters. Taught them to stand up for what they want without whining, but they have to do it themselves, of course supervised when they were young. Sometimes their meals were balanced with a tweak or two, sometimes it was just noodles with butter and salt. Anytime an opportunity to teach a lesson about independence presented itself, I took it.

My grandmother was always feeding someone down and out. At one point her sister & her husband plus their 5 kids on top of herself my grandpa and their own 6 kids. That makes 15!
