It's incredible how everything is wrapped in plastic, even the fruits and the veggies... I live in Europe and here we still have alternatives (for ex. we can buy yoghourt and honey in glass jars, fruits and veggies without any kind of wrapping, eggs in cardboard boxes, and so on). It looks in Japan you don't have alternatives but to buy all that plastic :(

Thank you for being so wise and see the fact. Really, there is no alternatives. And that’s is why we really pay good attention in separating our trash for recycle. Even though so, still no plastic would be the best. Hopefully we can catch up with EU ECO friendly minded soon 🙏 Thanks again for sharing you insight with me😊

Same here. Hardly any vegetables comes in plastic all i can think of quickly is that salads usually come with plastic bag other than that not much. Everything is just in piles and you pick them up yourself and weight them. If you get like single tomato you just slap the sticker to that, but if you buy multiple you can get the plastic bag, "biodegradable" bag or paper bag. Stores sell reusable bags at the vegetable (somewhere around 1 euro a piece) section too and many use them. Oh and i live in northern europe.

If I were to get from Amazon it would be NZD $410.04 with free shipping, which is a lot better. How much is it in Japan, just interested. I think I'll order the one on Amazon.
