Lovely yarn (haul) ladies! Since I can't order online I picked up Red Heart: Heart & Sole in Ivory, then got myself some food coloring and vinegar and dyed myself some cool colored sock yarn, it was so much fun to do! (I have asthma, so I can't use acid dyes) my favorite one was turquoise, magenta and neon blue. Lots of love ❤️ Marie

I can't take credit for the idea, I watched Chemknits on KZbin, She shows how to dye yarn with food coloring, kool aid, Easter egg dye pellets, & cotton yarn with tie dye (for t-shirts), I can't remember her name, but it's on Chemknits (KZbin).

I watch your podcasts while I nurse my baby to sleep. :) And sure, right now I can't afford all of the gorgeous indie yarns you ladies feature, but I still get a thrill out of watching your excitement over them! I'm trying to get caught up and have watched episodes 1-4, but realized I may be missing some current fun stuff. So I'll start watching new episodes as they come out then go back and catch up. So much fun watching!! AND, I'm so excited to have just made my very first indie yarn purchase on Etsy (no yarn shops near me). Thank you for retail therapy because I thought I was stuck with the yarn in the big box stores (not that there is anything wrong with them, but always feel limited in their selection).

I teach knitting 2x a week to adults with special needs. Then we could go to lunch at the cafe where theWellspring folks serve delicious food! It is so special to see those with disabilities catch the joy, rhythm and love of knitting.

Haven't seen you since April 14th. Totally missed you. I even checked my settings to see if I didn't set the notification right. But while you were gone I reacquainted myself with this two needle craft (since I haven't knitted since I was about 9) and taught myself some cable patterns and learning how to read the patterns. Some patterns are easier to read and understand than others. Another reason why I love KZbin. I'm getting myself geared up to make some socks. 😃

My kids and I all read a lot of books. And we all have A LOT of books! So sometimes it's overwhelming to pick out a single book to read. So we made a game of it. Once a month we pick a book from one another's books and that is the book that they have to read out of their own book stash. We have a month to read the book and then we switch, etc. So, I was thinking maybe you two should do that with your yarn. Each of you pick out a project and then you each go to the others yarn stash and pick out the yarn that they need to use for the project. That way you use yarn you totally forget about and you will get a beautiful knitted thing to wear. Just a thought. Another way to help move the stash along! Jodi picks out Tracie's yarn for Tracie's project and then Tracie's goes to Jodi's stash for Jodi's project.
